VIP Singles is an online dating community for successful professional singles from all over the world. VIP Singles is managed by its parent site, Mate1, one of the newest (and incredibly popular) dating networks on the internet. Unlike many other sites we have reviewed, VIP Singles is specifically designed to help members find success in long-term relationships, not just casual dating. VIP Singles is responsible for matching thousands of professional singles each year, opening up access to its wide range of features in order to make it easier for its members to meet and get to know each other.

Creating a profile with VIP Singles is quick and easy. On joining members are taken to the Mate1 website to complete an extensive membership questionnaire and begin adding information and photos to their profile. Once the basic profile questionnaire is completed, members can return at any time to add additional details to their profiles, meaning there’s no need to spend hours filling in forms or questionnaires on your first day of membership. Members can search for others using a range of search features and filtering tools, including an advanced search, quick search, keyword search and nickname search to name just a few! Members can also log on to the site’s great Live Chat function to see who’s online and ready to chat in your local area – a great way to meet people and strike up conversation!

Although generally speaking VIP Singles does offer customers a range of great features and access to a wide network of users, there were a few issues that were slightly disappointing and warranted some further discussion. Firstly, The VIP Singles site is actually just a homepage that links directly to the Mate1 website, offering users the opportunity to check out profiles across the whole Mate1 network. Although this is normally a great draw for many of our readers, when considering a specialist, niche site such as dating for professionals simply directing users to a parent site does rather defeat the point of joining a site that attracts only those individuals. Secondly, when joining, the site does not offer the opportunity for members to elect to be “men interested in men” or “women interested in women” or indeed, “men and women”, meaning the site is only really accessible to heterosexual users. Finally, at $49.95 per month, the site is rather expensive compared to other sites we have reviewed in this category.

Although VIP Singles (and Mate1) does have a range of features to offer members, as well as a wide membership base, we were a little disappointed by the site in many ways and feel it doesn’t really justify its (fairly outrageous) monthly price tag. If you’re interested in checking out what this site has to offer, there is a $1.95 three-day trial, which would give users the opportunity to get a feel for all of the site’s features without having to commit to an expensive monthly subscription.
