As a bone fide braniac, I loved the concept. But this website confirmed what I already knew: most people out there are not brainiacs. I did a search within 100 miles of where I live (a backwater called Metro Washington DC), with no other search criteria, and there were less than a handful of women who had visited the site within the past two months. After that, 5 pages of women who were last active "over 120 days ago" (as far back as the site tracks). Might work if you are willing to travel to the other side of the country to meet for coffee.
In short, if your goal is to actually meet someone, not make nerdy conversation on the other side of the country, save your time and money; this site is a loser. -- DJ Arnoldo
In summary, I would not recommend Brainiac Dating to a friend.
